KARACHI: A Seven-year-old youth fell into the Gujjar Nullah located in the city’s Gulberg area on Friday, a local news channel reported.
Municipal staff and the locals of the area continuously searched for seven hours to find the kid but all efforts went useless as the child was not recovered.
According to details, 7-year-old Rehan fell into the nullah – for which the locals did a five-hour search as the central district’s municipal corporation’s staff displayed a lazy attitude and ignored the issue – despite being timely informed.
The municipal administration reportedly came into action – after five hours – and started a search operation for the boy but it was already dark by then. They soon gave up the efforts on grounds that it was impossible to continue the search after dark.
