HYDERABAD: Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) leader and former Sindh information minister Sharjeel Memon’s nomination papers reveal that he and his wife own millions in properties and cash.
Memon, who is contesting elections from PS-63 (Hyderabad) and is currently facing corruption cases as well.
According to the documents, two apartments worth Rs50 million and Rs98.9 million are under the ownership of Memon and his wife in Dubai.
The document reads that Memon owns three cars worth Rs39,570,000.
PPP leader also shared that he owns Rs87,091,389 in prize bonds and cash.
According to the documents, the amount in Memon’s wife’s bank accounts is Rs22,979,000.
The documents show that Memon owns furniture and various items worth Rs2.5 million.
The former Sindh Minister’s wife owns shares worth Rs3 million in International Gulf Group.
Moreover, the documents reveal that Memon owns a house in Karachi’s Defence area worth Rs4.4 million and a property worth Rs9.7 million in the same area.
The documents read he also possesses a property worth Rs150,080,000 in Tharparkar.
