Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has ordered to the Local Government Department secretary to supply garbage lifting machinery to Municipal Committee (MC), Naundero. The MC chairman, A D Bhutto, had submitted an application to the CM at Bhutto House during visit of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari few days before. In the application chairman had asserted that Naundero town has special status due to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. Due to the death anniversaries of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, VIP movement is always taking place and MC is always facing difficulties since several years for lack of relevant resources for lifting of garbage and maintaining cleanliness in GKB and Naundero. He further said that population of the town is gradually increasing so four refuse vans along with dust bins, three tractors along with hydraulic trolleys, six Qingqi for garbage picking, one Russian dozer, two road cleaner vans (Groomers) and two full size fire brigade machines may be supplied to cope up with the situation. It must be mentioned that huge amount is annually allocated to MC Naundero but cleanliness is made in selected areas of those residents who are near & dear to the chairman and other parts are always neglected as heaps of garbage can be seen unlifted almost everywhere in the streets.
