Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman on Sunday said Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) led government would not give in to the threats hurled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan. She said in a statement that Imran Khan was using assemblies’ dissolution as a political threat adding if Imran Khan wanted to hold talks, he should take a positive U-turn and attend assembly sessions. Reacting to Imran Khan’s repeated announcements of dissolving assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the minister said PTI’s allies in Punjab assembly and some lawmakers in KPK assembly were reluctant to dissolve assemblies. Sherry Rehman added the former prime minister was falsely expecting to be brought back to power as it happened in 2018.
