ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Daniyal Aziz has said that Imran Khan wants to shed blood for the sake of his personal desires instead of accountability.
Aziz made these remarks while talking to media outside Supreme Court during the Panama Leaks proceedings. “Imran Khan is confused and is launching baseless and false propaganda against national institutions including National Accountability Bureau and Federal Board of Revenue alleging them of dancing to the tune of PM due to lack of credible evidence against prime minister and his children’s involvement in corruption in Panama Leaks case,” Aziz said.
The PML-N leader added that Imran Khan should abandon propaganda against the national institutions and look at his own weaknesses.
He said that Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen should look at how they whitened their black money, adding that all the record for this is available in this regard.
He added, “When Gen (Retd) Hamid exposed corruption of PTI ministers, advisors and secretaries then law was amended, his hands were tied and corrupt elements were protected.”
Daniyal Aziz demanded that if the PTI chairman wanted accountability, then he would have to open those cases on the basis of which Gen (Retd) Hamid and the officer who detected corruption in billion tree project were removed from service.
