SRINAGAR: In Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), Hurriyet Forum Chairman and Awami Action Committee (AAC) Head, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, vowed that the resistance leadership would take the martyrs mission to its logical conclusion.On the directives of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, an AAC delegation led by its senior member Abdul Salaam Khanday visited the residence of Tawseef Ahmad Wagay at Kulgam and expressed solidarity with family members of the martyred youth.

Mirwaiz, whose social political and religious activities have been restricted by the authorities, and he has been placed under house arrest talked to the aggrieved family members over the telephone.
The hurriyet leader assured them that the sacrifice of martyr Tawseef and thousands of others will not go in vain.
Mirwaiz said the Kashmiris and the resistance leadership would take the mission of martyrs forward at any cost until it reaches its logical conclusion.”
The AAC also denounced the house arrest of Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Advocate Shahidul-Islam, Farooq Ahmad Saudagar, Abdul Rashid Tanki and other Hurriyet leaders and activists.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for Mirwaiz-led forum in a statement appealed to the UN Secretary General, António Guterres to come forward proactively and make serious efforts for the resolution of the long pending dispute of IOK which is the only way to save the people of Kashmir from the present plight and bring peace and stability into the region
The spokesman said the Kashmir has been the oldest dispute on UN agenda, and the UN had passed several resolutions on its floor wherein it has pledged to resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris.
Stressing that due to the indifference of the world body towards this issue, the Kashmiris were suffering as “India has unleashed state sponsored oppression on Kashmiris to muzzle their voice and make them give up their political struggle”.
