ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan to take all the necessary measures to block blasphemous content on social media. He further directed that those responsible should meet justice promptly.
He said steps should be taken to completely eradicate the condemnable blasphemous content on social media. The prime minister has further sought a report on the issue.
He directed that international organisations relating to social media should be approached for blockade of blasphemous contents and the Foreign Office should play its role in this regard.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the issue of blasphemous content is before the court and all steps should be taken in line with the guidance of the court.
