ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent demands were just part of their election campaign as the government was doing more than their demands, Senator Lt. General (R) Abdul Qayyum said on Friday.
Talking to APP outside the Parliament House, the Senator said that PPP should focus on giving finest services to the people of Sindh as the citizens still face problems there. He said that the National Security Committee issue would be resolved soon and the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project was going well.
He added by saying that the government will appoint a Foreign Minister whenever they feel the need to do so. He said that PPP were trying to deceive the public through their demands because of their failure to resolve the issues of the public.
Senator Mushhidullah said that PPP’s demands were their political right but these demands were useless as the county was on the path of development and prosperity under Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s leadership. He said that the completion of CPEC would bring socio-economic changes in the region and the ratio of un-employment would reduce in Pakistan.
