ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) chief and former president Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemnedthe brutal murder of party leader Babar Sohail Butt in Lahore and asked the federal and Punjab governments to apprehend the killers and bring them to book.
The former president paid rich tributes to Babar Sohail Butt for his services to democracy and his commitment and loyalty to the party.
He demanded legal action against the perpetrators of the heinous crime, as per the requirementof Babar Butt’s family. “Babar Butt’s murder is a great loss to the party,”the former president said.
